Bark Beetle Blues

The mountain pine bark beetle has caused the largest known insect infestation in the history of North America. Millions of acres of pine forests from southern United States to northern Canada are either dead or dying. As an artist and native of Colorado, I was moved by the devastation and motivated to create a unique portrayal of this life cycle of the Bark Beetle Blues.
